7 Habits of Highly Effective People vs Ah Bengs vs Teh Tarik Kakis
No no. I am not talking about The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey, but rather the The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teh Tarik People (Kakis).
Many a times when people go for a teh tarik session, they are NOT effective and waste much time, effort and money. I shall write about the good habits, getting inspiration from the following poster (sent by a friend through email, sources unknown). Of course you will notice in this poster it is talking about “Ah Beng”, who represent a common folk in our Malaysian society. You have to read the phrases in Hokkien dialect. If you have difficulty, kindly seek help from your Hokkien Chinese friends. Do you have a good laugh?
There are 7 habits all together and I would like to cover each habit in relation to a teh tarik kaki; one post by one post in the next days:-
Habit #1 Be Pro-active
Habit #2 Begin With The End In Mind
Habit #3 First Things First
Habit #4 Think Win Win
Habit # 5 Seek To Understand Rather To Be Understood
Habit #6 Synergise
Habit #7 Sharpen The Saw
